Range of responsibilities:
- Assess company and client requirements and propose technical solution
- Implement end-to-end mobile solutions
- Meet efficient turnaround and output of mobile applications using best practices for the platform
- Monitor and track the latest development and direction of mobile platforms
- Ensure that the technical implementation meets the system requirements
- Take ownership of the quality and accuracy of work done
- Take responsibility for architectural decisions made
- Documenting the design, architecture and approach used
- Propose designs that will include the mobile feature requirements while incorporating optimal User Experience as well as striking UI design
Requirements:
- At least 3 years solid Android development experience
- Solid understanding of Android internals – what can be done and what can’t be done
- Knowledge and understanding of the latest trends and technologies in mobile market
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented principles
- Understanding of usability and user experience in mobile applications
- Must have written applications that are published to the Play Store
- Good UI design skills
- Confident at doing design proposals and mock-ups with minimal inputs
